Stew Skomra

President

Stew Skomra has led global market and product development for Fortune 500 companies with extensive multi-national Global 2000 customer exposure in product marketing and strategic business development roles at Trimble Navigation, Qualcomm, Intel, Telxon, and IBM. He has led efforts in customer-focused, market-based platform product & services planning and development spanning industries including: Transportation and Logistics, Manufacturing, Retail and Wholesale Distribution, Healthcare, Education, Finance and Insurance.

Stew has been a co-founder/principal of four startups and has extensive early-stage technology company experience with roles including: business plan creation and strategic partnership formation in addition to his core market and product development expertise. He has driven company formation (both spin-outs, and grass root start-ups), and has extensive experience with angel and institutional funding rounds, pre-IPO private placements/bridge financing through to Initial Public Offering.

Stew has been issued multiple patents in the areas of: dynamic delegation distributed systems protocols, asynchronous mediated communications, and image-based medication management systems and has numerous patents pending in areas of information systems security, mixed-network communications, dynamic composite applications, dynamic paperless transactions/contracts, and wireless automated external defibrillation systems. An APICS Certified Practitioner in Inventory Management, he holds his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from The Ohio State University.

Buz Leiffer

VP Enterprise

BUZ Leiffer leads strategy formulation, business development, and sales execution for TeMeDa Enterprise opportunities. With over twenty five years’ experience in design, development and execution of innovative wireless solutions, Leiffer delivers well organized, effective business development and sales execution demanded of large-scale complex Enterprise solutions. His communication and negotiation skills combined with solid analytics, logic and solid business acumen enable BUZ to create win-win opportunities that meet and exceed expectations. Leiffer’s intuitive, practical, common-sense approach has led to the development and lunch of multiple successful business ventures in the highly competitive, fast moving, and ever-evolving mobile voice and data industries.

Leiffer has extensive experience in Internet of Things (IOT), Fleet Logistics, Telematics, M2M Solutions development, Cloud based solution sales in both PaaS (Platform-as-a Service) and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) models. Leiffer is experienced in working with the M2M Investment community in identifying opportunities, positioning creative solutions and driving new solutions to market. BUZ is recognized as an expert in wireless solutions, working with leading companies shaping design and defining requirements supporting companies in Transportation, Logistics, Manufacturing, Utility, Finance and Security Solutions.

Prior to joining TeMeDa, Leiffer held Senior Management and Executive roles at Navman Wireless, Sensorlogic (recently acquired by Gemalto), Velocita Wireless, ATT, Sprint and BellSouth Wireless Data.

Leiffer managed BellSouth Wireless Data’s Direct and Indirect Channel Sales development, providing wireless solutions to innovative early adopter companies including, FedEx, IBM Global Services, JP Morgan, Citibank, Evalon, Coke, Southwestern Bell, BellSouth and Dominion Resources.

Pablo Mesa

VP Operations

Pablo Mesa leads TeMeDa Operations encompassing Sales Order Processing – Quality Assurance – Customer Support – Product Development – Financial Systems. With over 25 years’ experience in business operations management, Pablo has been directly responsible for Organizational Team and Process Development and Information Systems Automation from sub $10M to +$100M Original Design & Manufacturing / Contract Manufacturing.

He has worked through ground-breaking of manufacturing, development, clean-room & environmentally and ESD-protected automated surface mount technology facilities along with implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning, Statistical Process Control, and Lean – Six Sigma principles.

Pablo’s focus at TeMeDa is to ensure that continuous process improvement is achieved in parallel with information systems automation to achieve the global scope and extraordinary scale demanded of TeMeDa asset intelligence automation innovations. Pablo’s General Management experience and expertise encompasses staff recruiting, performance & development planning, budget formulation to achieve operational goals in support of strategic plan, financial plan monitoring, cost control and extensive cost-benefit analysis of investment programs ensuring financially responsible organization execution in delivering customer satisfaction.

Scott Barnes

Director of Strategic Alliances

Scott Barnes is responsible for TeMeDa’s Alliance and Partnership programs; including dealers, distributors, system integrators, VARs and strategic partnerships.

Scott has more than 17 years of business experience focused in Machine-to-Machine (M2M ) and the Internet of Things (IoT) focused on wireless data, transportation, mobile resource management (MRM) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). Scott has an extensive back ground in all facets of the M2M ecosystem including: wireless modules, modems, wireless connectivity and Cloud based services in both PaaS (Platform-as-a Service) and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) models.

Before joining TeMeDa, Scott held Senior Management and Sales positions at Feeney Wireless, M2M Data Corporation, Aeris Communications, Telogis, Discrete Wireless, Inc. (now Nextraq) and BellSouth Wireless Data. He received his BBA in Marketing and OBBP from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
